What springs you running?
Anybody tell me what springs y’all running. So I’ve got a 84 z28 that I just finished up 6.2 LS3-6L80 swap. Love it btw. I installed a Eibach pro kit which is 1inch drop front and rear. Only problem is my car looks like these Carolina squat trucks. Dang thing is sitting up too high in the front. Also have battery relocated in the trunk. Any advice? Thanks

I have a fairly stripped/no ac car w an SBC but has be emissions and aluminum heads. I had a similar issue when I first got it on the ground. I ended up going with UMI weight jacks both front and rear. Now the front/rear is exactly where I want it! I was able to get it low and still have firm springs.

You can cut springs 1/4 coil at a time. Spring rate will increase with each cut. Whereas weight jacks will keep spring rate with height adjustments and you can dial it in with turn of a ratchet.
Your Eibach Pro front springs are 715 lb/in according to this thread, Here are the eibach spring rates!
It might be very difficult to get a similar spring rate in a weight jack, usually they are 800 lb/in or more. Weight jacks use really short springs, and the spring is stiff to prevent coil bind. Ground Control Racing would be your best bet for specialized springs. I think they used to be able to go down to 750 or 700 lb/in, but I don't know if they can source those springs any more. A lot of the selection of springs has dried up over the years. I'd have that discussion over the phone, not by e-mail, you'll get better results.
The front wheels do have to be unweighted to turn the jack screw, so you'll have to drive around the block after adjustment to settle suspension. The motion ratio is 2:1, so 1/2" screw height is about 1" change of ride height. Takes a lot of the guess work out of it.
Weight jacks are even more useful than that though. The actual purpose is to set corner weights of the car, if you have the interest to do that in the future.
