LS/t56 adjustable torque arms advice?

Im near complete buying all the suspension parts to swap my drivetrain from one transam to another clean shell. While doing so now is the time to upgrade the things I didnt do last time. Currently Im going to be using Umi tubular k member and A arms for ls swap, currently have hawks t56 cross member and stock torque arm, umi adjustable lca's, umi adjustable panhard bar, strange dana s60 rear for 3rdgen stock fitment, umi 1" lower springs, qa1 dbl adjustable shocks all around.

The car is going to be mainly street/strip and occasional circuit time. I know there has been alot to say about relocation the torque arm off the trans but having a ls/t56 really limits options.

Would would everyone suggest I do to upgrade the torque arm. Get a adjustable replacement, or get a tunnel mount style which apparently hangs quite low?, or the spohn crossmember with driveshaft loop and tunnel mount torque arm.

I will be running the hawks 4" exhaust also since its a turbo ls swap so its going to be tight under there.

Your combo will require the strength of an aftermarket unit. Buying an adjustable unit will allow you to dial in the pinion angle which will be required when you lower the car and replace the rear end. I would strongly recommend the holley LS swap trans crossmember as it relocates the torque arm mount from the trans. A panhard rod lower/relocation kit will help route your exhaust over the axle.

I have been using the holley blackheart cross member to get the torque arm off the transmission with good success, example in thread below-

Havent thought to check holley actually. Did you also use their torque arm or another brand?
I do already have a panhard relocation bar on the current car so I should be good for the larger exhaust.

Holley doesn't make a torque arm for these cars. Any unit from UMI, BMR or founders will suffice.

Be mindful you'll have to notch the top of the bracket so you can slide it on to the inner set of holes. If you install it on the outer set of holes it's too far towards the driver's side and will hit the floorpan when loaded.
