questions bout adjusting spohn LCA'S
i just got done putting the relocation brackets on and the lca's adj. type also the panhard bar.. the job wasnt to bad once the stock bolts were out had to torch two of them!! my question now is the parts come in stock length.. and i put the lca in the bottom hole on the bracket.. so which way do i adjust to make my car hook more?? and what is the easiest way to do it?? thanks for the help!!

when i did mine, i just messured, and got the wheels centered front to back, and left to right. i don't know if it is "the best" for traction, but with the additions of the brackets, you should hook up SO much better than before.
and how do i measure pinion angle?? thanks
also should i just leave them alone?? since they did come from spohn factory preset and i am using the brackets i will definetly hook better?? i already hooked good coming off the line why i dont know the car always hooked but i thought since i was putting in my new motor why not try them!! hope to see some improvment

i think you need and adj. torque arm to adjust pinion angle. the lca's won't do that i don't believe.
You should have got the standard non-adjustable LCA & Pandhard bar and saved some money on the brackets. If you don't know how to adjust them, you will screw up your pinion angle and who knows what else. My opinion.

th easiet wy to set the pinion angle is to park on a slab of cement that seems to be as close to level as possible and flat. Next, get an angle finder, set it to zero on the ground and them stick it on the bottom of thr axle housing benieth the pinion on the flat. This should give you a close number.
Oh yea, hte control arms have just as much to do with pinion angle as the torque arm. The only time the torque arm only has control of the pinion angle (by it's self) is if the lca's are not adustable.
so lets say they are set at stock now and they are supposed to be stronger then stock will i see a difference without touching them till i can get an angle finder? where do i get a angle finder?? and what would be an optimal number to shoot for?? also the LCA'S are in the bottom hole on the brackets right now.. so what would happen if i shortened them and put them in the top whole jsut trying to figure out what the different holes do and exactly hwo to set these for optimal hook up wish spohn would have sent an angle finder or put in his instructions specifc ways to adjust these for what a person wants in his or her application other then that i am wa happy with the way they look and the structure of them thanks for all your help guys.
