different knock sensors and injectors, thats about it, by looking at the 2 engines , probably couldnt tell the difference.

yes, the TBI units themselves are the same, both 1 11/16" bores. If u want a higher flowing TBI, do the ultimate TBI mods, bore it out to 48mm, buy a Holley 670 CFM unit or try to find a GM 454 TBI unit.

The injectors are rated differently for 305's and 350's. Do a search in the archives for LO5. I'm considering the same swap for my 5-speed LO3 and have found a wealth of info there.

bore out the throttle body to 48mm??? where do we get the new throttle blades?
who does the ultimate tbi mods for 40 dollars i forget... if he does them do we have to send us our current throttle body before or after.. i just dont have time to learn or to take mine off... shot me an e-mail if you know.

i am trying to get a lo5 also we should all let each other know some round abuot prices and what not hard things and easy things since it looks like a few of us are doing it...

you can use the 48mm throttle blades from a stock TPI throttle body. I just bought 4 from a guy for 7 bucks.
