Well I got my car runing but....

Ok here is the thing, these cop car injectors are plenty enough for this engine they aint gonna have any limits that im gonna ever see... but what do you guys runnin TBI run at temp wise on the highway, I have a 180* stat and im runnin my fan manually, on the highway im hittin 225* or so with the fan off, runnin a constant 55, if I flip on the fan it goes down to about 190* on the gage, the AC raidiator thing that is infront of the radiator on stock camaro's is gone, it was the 2.8 and never had the plastic peices on the underneath for air flow. Is this type of heat permissable? I thought it would be lower but...??? As the 2.8 it never went under or much over 220*... maybe it is ok, just though some opinions and fact would help me out here, thanks in advance.

it is all good the cars where set up to run hot. i would say not to let it get over 240-250 but is will not kill any thing the only time you will hurt it is if you ever let it boil then the air pockets next to the heads can cause them to warp

Get the air dam on or you won't flow any air across the radiator! You even said it yourself that when you turn the fan on the temps drop so obviously it's an issue with the air passing through the radiator.

it don't matter that the front grill blades are forceing air directly at the raidiator since the air conditioner raidiator aint there? I mean it is not getting too hot but a little hotter than I had thought it would.

Not only would I get the air dam but I would put a V8 radiator in it as well. Then I would put a manual fan switch in so I could turn it on as I pleased.

does your car have a chin spoiler under it? taht really effects teh cooling of the car. it directs more air across the rad, if it is damaged or missing you will not get much air flow across the radiator above about 40mph.
