Valve covers - how to and what kind?
Cast aluminum? Stamped steel? Which ones work better?
How hard is it to replace them? I've never done them before and wondered if anyone has a quick write-up about how to do it. Mine look like doo-doo.

i got the 42 dollar ones from summit..same style as factory but chrome and the oil cap needs to be pushed on now instead of screwed on. replacing is easy. all u really need to get out of the way is the heater valve and the diverter valve. once those are out on the pass. side 4 bolts will take it out. gaskets are a bitch though. i stretched mione out around a garbage can so when i put them in they fit pretty close to where they should. centerbolt gaskets need to be stretched cuz they are rubbery for some reason and trying to put them on without stretching them is a pain. anyways, when ur ready, put some rtv..very little, is spots on the cover to hold the gasket in place during installation. also, make sure u disconect the battery b4 starting. torque should be about 15 ft. llbs on the bolts, just put them tight enough not to leak. any ques. email me... camaroguy72@aol.com
