chip help

chip help

i just did a motor swap 305 to a 350 in a 1988 trans am and used the same heads and intake and tbi now i need more fuel and air so i talked to a friend of mine a he say's i can use a computer and chip and fuel injectors out of a 1992 caprice police car that has a 350 tbi is this true? if not then what can i do. thanks guys

i dont know the motor was built when i got it i i know it's a stock 350 cam 1976 is the year of the motor

I'd get a new chip and use your computer; the Caprice TBI and/or injectors should feed your new 350 like they were meant to.

If you find a reliable way to have a custom chip made please share!

What's up with the '88 T/A? Did it have a 305 and a TBI? I've never heard of a T/A with TBI.

yeah t/a's came with tbi and tpi. it a nice car ill post some pics in a few days
