350 Truck Manifold
I'm thinking about going a cheaper way than the Edelbrock tbi manifold. I've heard that the 350 truck tbi manifold flows the best out of the stock chevy tbi manifolds. So if I did a home port and polish job on it would I get the same flow as the edelbrock? Or if I had it professionally done, how bout then?
I am doing a LT1 cam swap along with a tbi manifold, it was going to be the edelbrock but I've been hearing it doesn't really feel all that much better. Just at high rpms.
This would save me at least 125 dollars by doing it this way. If it will flow as well.

when it comes to suspension. If you can get the right materials and you have the right tools. You can make parts that are as good if not better then store bought products. But when it comes to stuff for the motor. Like something like the manifold. Thats something I would rather buy instead of try to customize.

I wouldn't try and make my own manifold but if the intake was going on a set of swirlport heads you can bet I would just hand port a stock intake manifold. If the heads were better I'd opt for aftermarket.
I'd rather design my own custom sheet metal intake manifold .

Guys, I don't really think the truck L05 got a different intake manifold than my L05, or your L03, for that matter. Might as well port your own.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong though...
