I finally got my truck to run half way decent, no check engine light, and it drives pretty good. But the problem is this, i can drive the truck into town and drive around for about 25-30 minutes stop and go. Then out of nowhere it will just bog down and pop and sputter out the tailpipe. The only way it can be driven again is if you let it set for a while then it will start and run fine, The timing is set at 4 degrees now.


Now the other problem, The truck will start and idle fine but the exhaust coming from it will literally knock you out i was in tears after a few seconds just standing behind it.

Any help would be great, I can give more info on the mods if needed but it is a tbi 350 so you guys should have an idea

I would put money on it being a clogged up cat.

 

i think it was the module i replaced it and it seems to have fixed the problem!!!
