I saw a gain of .1 in the 1/4 with a mostly stock car. But ive heard that is rare.

Here is a pic of the TBI unit that I practiced on. It was really easy but I went through a lot of bits because I let the bit get to hot and it gummed up the aluminum. I used a cutting disc on a dremmel and then radiused it with stell cutting wheely bit thingy (not sure what exactly this kind of bit is called)

i got ahold of a spare throttle body and started gfrinding on it. i grinded the hell outa the bores untill it looked good and even and then i took out some fine grit and sanded it really smooth and then got a little finer grit and made it shine like it was polished you couldnt tell it was done by hand. i havent ever run mine in a quarter mile or anything so i dont know for sure how much of a gain it really gave but i think it helped. also i made my throtle body spacer out of plastic and slapped it on there but since it was an old throttle body it needed a whole new gasket rebuild so i had to take it apart and put in all new gaskets the kit ended up being like 6 dollars at auto zone i used the sensors and the injectors off of my origional throttle body just to save some trouble because i knew they worked n wasnt to sure about the older ones

Here is a pick of the bit that I used. I also used a fine grit sandpapaer (that pic is before I hit it with the paper) and it looked like I never took a tool/grinder to it at all. I did not touch the throttle blades at all for fear of sliping and gouging the walls of the TBI unit.

the bit i used, cut very fast and smooth, looks like a saw blade in the shape of a drum or cylinder. never gummed up and never wore down at all. spend 15 bucks on the bit. i know, i know. but trust me, it was worth it. i could do 5 more with the same bit in probably a couple hours. its fast and/or smooth depending on the speed youve got the dremel spinning at.
