305 tpi heads will help you a little.. i asked this question awhile back and from the knowledge i got is that with a little exhaust side porting .. prob about 10 hp differance or so with just the heads. with the cam swap prob about a total of 30-40 estmiating. it also depends on what rockers you are using. if you went with roller tip ones like i did 1.52 or 1.6 you would get a tad more than that.
good luck..

i dont know if this matter or not, but the head casting number is 14101081, its a standard port head, what about these, now
081 is the most common 305 TPI head; after 87. They're a good basis for a higher horsepower motor over the stock 187s. Just port the intake runners a bit, improve the line of sight in the exhaust ports and put some higher lift springs for the new cam.
adn don't forget a good valve job. the guys in the fastest street car association have proven in teh cheap street class that a low lift(limited to .490 at teh valve) stock casting(not allowed to mess with the head casting at all) can benefit greatly from a good valve job.
