need more power!

i have just recently bought a 91 camaro rs. its basically stock, just with a flowmaster muffler. but i know that a stock rs isnt that quick. i am looking for some fairly cheap and easy mods to make it faster. what do you guys think about an edelbrock perfomer intake manifold. ive heard good things about them. what kind of gain should i expect form that? let me know what you guys think. thanks.

Do a search man. You'll find a ton of info on the manifold and many other mods.

I would concentrate on exhaust first. The engine isn't going to do much if it can't exhale. I would also look into an open element 14x3 flat base air cleaner, that will help your car breath easier. Also look in the tech articles for the ultimate TBI mods they are very cheap just about free. After you do all of that then you can start worrying about an intake manifold.

1. Do the ultimate TBI mods

2. Change the entire exhaust. Headers, 3" CAT, 3" Cat back

3. Gears. Toss the whimpy 2.73 and go 3.42 posi

4. LT1 Cam and performance intake

5. Vac fuel press regulator and WINALDL for tuning.
