how much power will i have??

here is my car, can you give me a clue about the horses and torque? it has 181k miles but is getting basically rebuilt with these mods...


91 bird,
305 tbi
lt1 cam
tpi heads, shaved 30/1000ths
3" straight pipes with borla 2 chamber mufler
emissions delete...... (yay)
stage 1 performance chip
hedman hedders


the end for now.... thats how my baby will be in 3 weeks... yay im hoping for a massive improvment over my 1990 3.1 bird ... massive

no way to give an accurate estimate until peopel start putting similar build ups on dyno's. one thign i woudl suggest si skipping the "stage 1" performance chip. data log teh car and get a proper chip burned.

i agree with nj speeder on the custom prom, especially since you are doing cam. pre programed chips for mods that you are doing wont operate at its full potential. im going to give a rough estimate on HP but dont quote, id say between 240-270 horses. good luck man! you should think about a performer intake as well.

sounds like good choices definitly go with a performer tbi intake though and definitly headers if you havent done so

do you know what year LT1 cam it is? they change the exhaust lobe a bit to get an extra 10hp from the LT1. i think teh 93-95 cams are similar and then teh 96-97 cams have teh revised/higher lift exhaust lobe. i woudl think if the heads have a mild port and polish adn a valve job it is not unreasonable to say you can see power in teh area of a stock LT1 with that set up once it si all tuned in.
