What would cause my injectors to do this?

I pulled the air cleaner assembly off and had someone try to start my car...I noticed that the car was trying to start every time, but that the injectors weren't firing when the car wouldn't start...so my problem is that theyare only spraying once out of every two tries----think it's my fuel pump or my filter? Am I on the right track here? Thanks.

What does the fuel spray look like when it comes out of the injector? Does it look real weak or does it look like a good strong spray?

I'd have to say it looks strong.

Okay, if the injectors aren't firing when you try to start the car most of the time but when they do fire they spray pretty good, then im thinking you might have a crappy connection somewhere. How often do the injectors not work then work?

bad module or weak pickup coil in the distributer will do the same thing.

I second the ignition module. Pull it off and have it tested. If its good you could try the pickup coil but its a PITA sorta. You have to pull the distributer and take it part.
