Ram Air Box for TBI
Has anyone used the www.ramairbox.com website and purchased one of their products? I am dying to get one but don't know which one to get. They have the dual snorkel and the cowl hood box too. Any pics or advice will be put to good use.
my cousin has one of these on his 65 gto, he also ran the breather hoses up to his high beamhead lights so it would suck in the air while at the strip. he seems to like the duel snorkel ram air box.
I made it in 3d studio max first then when I got the parts, I put it together. It works so well that I found sadly lots of sand and dirt at the back of my air cleaner. Thank *** for my K&N... part exposed to the ram air is all black, but its doing its job well.

Another...
I'm thinking that if you used a 1/2 inch or 1 inch TBI spacer that you wouldn't have an issue with it barely clearing the distributor.

I thought about buying a RamAir box, but they're too darn big. I like to see my engine. I didn't put on the p/d coated intake, valve covers, and everything else to have the view blocked by an ENORMOUS, expensive black plastic box and ducting.
I'm going to get one of the reproduction early 70's Camaro dual snorkles with the chrome lid for a $100 - looks better that the early '80's HO dual snorkles as it does not have those ridiculous thermac valves on each snorkle.
Why would I cover up this? Just my 2 cents. SC
