Not too many people are familiar with what the numbers on the camshafts from an LT1 mean. I know I don't.
I have one in my basement right now that I bought off Ebay. I can get the numbers off of it if you like, but I doubt they'd help. All you can do when buying one of those cams is hope you can trust the seller.
After I got mine, I spec'd it out (and I was pleasantly rewarded to find out that I have a 'less common' grind.
) But that's the only REAL way to find out.
I mic'd it out, then set it in a spare block I have and used a degree wheel to find out all the other info I needed.
AFAIK, that's all you can do at this point in time. If it is an LT1 cam, then "Yes" it will work.
I'll be back in a few minutes with the number off mine.

tb, where do you live, I looked at the cam and agree with AJ. with out proof you really don't know what your getting, but at the same time if you don't get what is advertised you might have some recourse with ebay. Funny thing is this guy lives about 25 miles from me.

Try running those #'s at www.mortec.com
Forget it, I looked and they don't have any referances for cams.

Look at his feedback

He's got nothing but positive. That doesn't mean he knows anything about engines, but at least it give you some idea he's truthful.
Seriously, if you click on the item numbers in his feedback, everything he's sold has SOMETHING to do with a SBC.IIWY, I'd bid on it.

I have found tons of them at camaroz28.com - in the classifieds - I've bought 3 of them in the last 3 months (for friends) and haven't spent more than $40 shipped.
