BLM 108 and 11 PSI fuel pressure.

OK. I have a blm of 108 at just about every throttle possition. I purchased a fuel pressure guage the other day and last night I measured 11 PSI fuel pressure. I'm considering making the FPR adjustable and lowering my pressure. That should cause the car to be less rich right? How much should I drop the pressure at first? Should the car maintain fuel pressure after you turn the car off? Thanks.

Bill

I would say that you have other issues than high fuel pressure. If the car is otherwise stock you might want to check your o2 sensor. Do you have any other data you could give us?

Just a thought?

If your BLM's are low and the engine is rich, doesn't that mean that the computer is adding fuel,to make up for what's not there?
So if you physically add more fuel(just a little goes a long way)shouldn't that help?

If the BLM's are low then the computer is removing fuel to compensate for a rich condition.

Maybe, check the 02 sensor (get a new one only $18) and check for some exhaust leaks before the 02 sensor, that will make the computer think you're running lean. This car has a stock cam?
