i persoanly plan to stick with TBI, it may not be in factory form, i am looking at a 900CFM holley 4bbl TBI, but i personaly don't think that TPI is a nice as people make it out to be, yes it is MPFI as compared to TBI, but those darned long runners suck, it would be a great truck motor with TPI, but hey , i don't drive a truck.

so would the superram tpi unit(base, runners, plenum) out flow the stock tpi unit(same) because i really love how the tpi systems look and because i plan to use a supercharger and i figured that would be the easiest way.It also has to be emmissions legal

it all depends on money, how much do you have to spend and when do you want to do it. Of course all of us would like to have a 350 SuperRam with a supercharger but we cant all afford it. So let us know what you want the car to do and then we can give you recommendations.

well this is a better question for the Power Adder board, i know nothing about setting up a car for a supercharger. But you better make sure that you build a strong bottom end, you dont want that thing to blow up once your finished with it.

and you better make sure you have the rest of the car ready for 500+, yout stock tranny won't cut it, if you are a manual, start looking for a t56, or Tremec TKO, if you have an auto, you will need something like a pro-built 700r4, or a non-overdrive th350 or th400. you are also going to need lots of suspension mods, SFCs, torque arm, control arms, ect, ect ect.
as for the engine, you will want one that can take whatever you through at it, forged pistons, h-beam rods, ARP hardware, ect, ect, ect.

i guess that i wont need the 3.42 gears i mean with that much power i dont think accel would be a problem(cant spell)

actualy you are better off with a 2 bolt black that has the mains splayed. it is actualy stronger than a factory 4bolt.

go at least 3.73 gears, you going to make alot of top end power, why limit yourself with 2.73s when your on a mission to make the ultimate thirdgen. You are probably looking at a good $8-10K when your all done.
We dont need to continue this subject, it is all over the boards and has been asked a million times. Just do one part of your car at a time. i.e. exhaust, suspension, rear end, tranny, then engine. You want to built the car from the ground up and it will more than likely take a few years, so try not to rush it and think you can do everything at the same time.
Also, it sounds like this is your daily driver, im sure you could save thousands of dollars and built a 350+HP naturally aspirated TBI motor if you match it with the right heads, intake, and cam. Add that to a matched torque converter, some 3.73s gears, and a strong tranny, that should get you into the high 12s which would be satisfying to most people. You would definately be betting most of the cars on the street, even hang with some corvettes and cobras, and it would be a nice streetable car.
