Timing problems
Timing problems
I had my distributor rebuilt and then he gave me back the car and it was running like crap. It would stall out at idle. I eventually took it back and told him the timing must be off, then he said no it cant be that and spent 30 minutes checking this other crap.
Then I told him to check the timing and he did. He said "You're right it is a little off". It was at 12* advance base timing. Isnt that A LOT off?
I had him put it to about 3-4 and now its fine, but I cant believe he said that 12 was a little off.
