Stat housing bolts stuck

Ok guys, so I went to go and change my stat today, and my bolts were like frozzen in there... I PB blasted it and let it sick for like 3hrs, going back every 30min and resparying, and still nothing cant even move em... WHAT DO I DO.... I dont got the funds to get a new intake, and my stat in there now is making me over heat in this fl climate.....

If you got heat, use it. Thats the next best step usually. Otherwise just get a bigger wrench and hope the stud dont shear. If it does dont worry about it, they are pretty easy to get to(at least on my truck). Drill it out and then use an easy out. If that dont work drill it out as big as possible and then try to chip out remainders. If that dont work drill it out bigger and tap with next size bolt. I dont know what experiance you have but all this "could" be done in under 30min.

Do you have access to an impact wrench? It may work better than a big wrench or cheater pipe IF you are CAREFUL. I would start with the pressure adjustment on the impact all the way down and work up slowly. Heat used along with the impact couldn't hurt.
Just remember that an impact can shear bolts too, if you're not careful. Good Luck.

Try tapping down on the bolt heads with a hammer and punch. Somtimes alittle shock helps when things have grown togather. I have done this many times when bolts wont break loose.

Everybody has offered good advice. I would try Jokers first and then some heat. How much leverage do you have on that bolt right now...

soakin them in blaster is a good idea.
given them a jolt with the hammer is as well.
when i hit that snag, and it still hasn't broken loose. try tightening it a lil bit. just to get it to move, then go back to loosening. rocking it back and forth will usually break the rust up enough.. and if not.. it'll start cutting new threads if it's really frozen. just try not to break it off...

drilling in aluminum is no fun

i'd avoid anything hotter than a propane torch...

it'll take a good deal of heating with the propane to get it warm enough to damage anything.

hit it with some antisieze when you put it back together.

That happened to my car too, I tried soaking in PB Blaster, hitting on it, twisting back and forth, nothin worked, finally I just said f%*k it and twisted it off, lucky for me I was at the machine shop where I work so I just pulled out the TIG and welded some metal to the top of the broken screw and then clamped vice grips to it and it came right out, the heat from the TIG will loosen just about any screw.
