Need help, bad.

This is a post as to why my car runs so slow, please do not respond and say "you did all that and your car only runs xxx!? wtf!@?!2311" lol, my wounds are deep enough already.

At any rate, heres the setup:
Vortec heads milled .020, .015" headgasket, lt1 cam, performer rpm intake, hooker headers, 3" catback, 2400 stall, 3.42's, posi and a slew of suspension mods.

Here's whats stock still:
stock tbi, stock injectors, stock fuel pump, stock wot tuning, stock bottom end.

I have a new fuel pump but its not in, I burn my own chips but I dont have have a wb o2 so Ive no idea how to tune wot. Fuel pressure is at 13.5 psi and as of this weekend Im now running 16.0 @ 88 mph. My 60 is still 2.4 but not because of traction, I hook great, but it bogs very very bad comming out of the hole. That was on a footbrake at 1800 rpm and also off idle. I shifted at 5500, 5750, 6000, and 6250 and had the same times.

I think I can narrow it down to fuel related, it has a new coil, new plugs, new wires and doesnt run like its a spark related issue, so my question is how to go about fixing that? The new pump, of course, and probably new injectors but I hate to keep throwing money at this and not get anywhere. I guess I could use a 2" tbi, as Im running the 1 11/16" on a 2" adaptor, but again thats another $200 that I dont want to spend unless I can see that im getting somewhere.

Any help is appreciated, as always. Thanks guys.

A WBO2 is not required for WOT tuning. The only thing you really need is performance measurement.

Get the new fuel pump installed and take it back to the track. Raise the FP up to 16psi and see what mph it traps. If its faster then raise it up again and retest. If its slower, lower the pressure in small increments until you find the psi it runs the fastest mph at.

Make sure your FP gauge is not affected by heat.

Timing is the same way. Raise it in small increments and note how mph is affected.

Hang in there chuck. Your car is still so much faster than most cars out there. I am not just saying that either. You are just used to riding in LT1's and LS1's now. I still think your problem is fuel related. Get every last stock thing replaced before you give up. Remember you are using a fuel system that was designed to make 170hp on a good day. Now you are pushing dang near twice that at a much higher RPM I really fear the day when you get tuned and get some fuel and you line up with me in the LT1. It may be the day I lose for the first time in the thing.

Assuming I can get the heap back down to UD You'll have to see the ghetto *** 10 spoke/5 spoke setup.

I think a 670 tbi would definitely help, but the fuel issue is the main thing. Do what others said and just tune with the fuel pressure at the track. What gears go you have? Vortec heads like high rpm, and I know you dont want to hear this, but you should have gone with a higher stall. What is your timing set at? All these things could play into why you are running so slow. Good luck.

Yea, a 2800-3000 would be real nice, maybe even a 3200, that will probably come next year with a tranny rebuild. Base timing is at 8*, thats where I ran my best mph (93). Theres a little timing added to the table but not much overall.
