Performer intake w/TBI adapter hood clearance???

Performer intake w/TBI adapter hood clearance???
I have a 91 RS L03. Friend has a performer intake and TBI adapter. Adapter is about 3/4 to 1" tall. Will it fit under my hood with the 14x3 open element(drop base) air filter or a 14x2 even?

I'm running a 1/2'' adapter and a 10x3" cleaner and it just clears. I would imagine you could get by with a 14x2

My setup with the Holley adaptor rubs the bottom of the hood so I dont have my aircleaner hold down shaft thingy and wing nut on.
