about my car...

My 91 camaro RS v8 is gotten old and serve well. Right now the dash marks 235K miles. I know...WOW!! The car has never given me a problem. I was 19 when i bought and didnt know much about cars. i didnt even check milelage or anything on it. Just a big gamble. I got it as a JOY CAR and i would shifted often and use it to race. I blew out the transmission within two years or less. I bought a use transmission because i really dont like to rebuilt them. I known people that had a bundle of problems with rebuild ones. I have no problems. I keep up with the tune ups and try to keep it stable.
These last few months i decided to put my hands into it. I know the engine is OVER USED. I know if i asked for advices everyone is going to say GET A NEW CAR!! or TRY A NEW ENGINE!! the facts are that it has been reliable. It would be hard to put in another engine and start with problems. I am trying to earn a few Extras HPs. I started a little with the exhoalt. I put a cut out into it. That isnt really going to help. i was thinking headers, and thicker pipes.
FASTER CAR!! That is what i am trying to accomplish. My engine work i want to do is better valves and valves springs with this i think i have to modify the rockers too. Anybody have a suggestion that i can work with my car please dont Hesitate...i might also help other v8 TPI drivers.

my 91 has 155000 on it. doesnt look anywhere near as good as yours. did you say 235000? well, if it doesnt smoke, or make any ticking noises, start throwing bolt-ons at it.

milage..

yeah its 250,000. My car has taken a beating from me...Yeah it looks good, but there are some details to it. One good example is me as a driver..lol...okay yeah the Trunk presure lock. ITS BUSTED. I cant fine a use one for replacement. The interior is fine too...the only thing i dont like is my seats are being discolorated because of the sun. So yeah...its that..i want to start making faster...and help its life last longer...

the only smoke i see coming out of it .its when i turn it on..I know!! The good thing is it doesnt smoke when being driving or on already...

Smoke on start-up is probably the valve stem seals. Although if you removed your catalytic converter you might find that your car would smoke while running.

well i am a step ahead of you. The catalyst comverter has been hollowed for 2 years now. I learned that having it hallow helps the car out

That's good; however, a straight-pipe in it's place will flow and sound better.
