Where is the chip?
hey guys.. this may sound stoopid but im still a newbie and i was wondering where the chip goes if i did purchase a stage 1 chip from tbichips.com and I wanted to install it. i hope it isnt hard to get to. Is it a good stock mod just to slap on? anways.. thanks.

The chip is located in the cars computer which is located underneath the dash on the passengers side.
Be careful removing it (the chip).
Disconnect your battery anytime you remove or replace it.
It is hard to say if it is worth it. It all depends on what you're looking for. I wouldn't expect much from it.
While the cars engine is controlled to a large extent by the chip/computer, the best way to make power is the old fashioned way. Heads/headers/cam/intake etc... Essentially, more air flow and more fuel flow makes more power.
Then alter the chip to allow for these increases.
But you have the right general idea- increase performance!
There are a lot of different ways to do it.
