Headers vs. Gears

Which benifit acceleration more, headers, or 3.73 gears and a carb intake? I've only got enough money for one of those options.
This will be on a car with 3'' pipes, flomaster, no cat, customs cold air, and timing.

Also, what are the best headers for the car? I'm lookin at hookers or SLP's. Do long tube's build any real power over mid-lengths?

Thanx,
chris

go with the headers first, give your car more top end before you upgrade to 3.73s
