new manifold

i just got a elderbrock performer manifold for free from a friend and its brand new. i was wondering if it will work on my car #3701 its for a sbc but will if it on mine.its a 4 barrel but i can get the tbi plate. if anyone has this one did you notice a diff thanks

that intake is for heads up to '86, so it will no fit without some modifiction to the bolt holes.

the modification is pretty simple, just use a drill and elongate the center 4 holes. so you can bolt in onto your heads.

i just did a similar thing with a performer rpm intake. it just took a lil drillen and file-en... now it fits good!

Does that manifold have a way for you to run EGR? If not you have to delete it from your chip. You may also have problems hooking up the throttle linkage as well as any other sensor that that manifold may not have provisions for.

i don't know about the performer but the p rpm does not have egr... but i have a carb now and the throttle was easy i just used a steel spacer with 2 holes in it and stuck them together.
