intake suggestions

I have a '92 LO3 engine and I just got some pre-87 '416' casting heads. Is there an intake I can use that will make the heads an easy bolt on and allow me to keep the TBI?

Any suggestions.

Just looked that intake up on weiand.com and it says it is not 50 state legal. I need something with egr so I can pass emissions.

Are there any others.

if you really wanted to (and if you're into performance, you dont) you could keep the stock intake. you just need to elongate and mess with the 4 center bolt holes.

otherwise, pick any carbed intake you want, and run a adapter plate.

that intake DOES have EGR. just doesn't carry a C.A.R.B. number.

So with that TBI adaptor plate the TBI will just bolt right on. No holes to drill or anything like that?

yes sir.

there will be some minor stuff to take car of. like throttle brackets, where to mount the coil, and fuel lines. nothing big and involved though.

edelbrock has a nice TB manifold (Performer). 1500 rpms-5500rpms). Designed for car. Probably no EGR. Was not Holley designed for truck?

Actually you can have my TBI manifold for cheap if you want after I pull that bolt out, that thing was really really easy to install.
