You have to use a fulcrum (it's recommended by the manufacturer). What i did was get two screwdrivers, put one of them long ways next to the injector and then get your other screwdriver (should be a flathead), lay it on top of the screwdriver, and pry up on the injector (actually the part in the center that sticks out). Sorry, I'm not good at explaining things. Hope this helps, though!

use 2 screwdrivers, one on the injector pod as a pivot and the other to pry it up. Thats how Haynes recommends to do it.

The roll-pin is on the base of the injector. Turn it upside down and itll be poking out the bottom. There is a notch in the injector pod that it keys into. Also make sure to lube the o-rings with clean motor oil or youll be pulling them back out again after the rings tear. Ill post a pic in a second.

ok i have them lined up both correctly, i noticed the notch for each injector is on opposite sides, so both times i had only one injcetor in the correct way. now they r in the correct way on both sides, but im gonna wait till tomorrow to get my gasket and install the fresh gaket before i attempt to tighten it all down again and start it.

LOL, I'd have secound thoughts about doing it if a Haynes manual said to do it. If it isn't obvious I have some beef with them...

I tried taking off mine and broke the little plastic pieces that hold them down, so now they are both just kinda... sitting... in there. The previous owner dangerously overheated the car MANY times so every little plastic piece under the whole hood just brake off, owell.

Not really, but itll alow any garbage floating around in the fuel system to possibly lodge itself in the injector and foul it up.
