where is the TPS located?

where is the TPS located?

dumb question but where is the TPS on my TBI? a picture would be wonderfuL! ty

if yuo look at the throttle shaft that goes thru the butterflys, you'll see a black box with a connector on it on the passenger side of the throttle body.

thats the TPS sensor.

i thought so, though , their is two plugs, one with 3 wires and the other looks like 4 wires

which wire do i tap into for my nitrous kit that says hook up to my tps?

one wire is a 5V source from the ECM, one varies voltage with throttle and the other is ground. My car has the newer style TPS with wire A is the 5V source, wire B is the varied voltage and wire C is ground. You can easily identify these with a multimeter, u can pick up cheap ones for about $5.

well i have an 89 camaro so im sure its the same.

so ineed to bridge my nitrous wire into the B line? cool!
