Noisy throttle body

Throttle body has started making a lot of noise. A rapid clicling type of sound kind of like a rattling PCV valve. Is anything to be concerned about?

Does the clicking sound increase as your engine speed increases? If it does, it is probably just your injectors spraying. Did you recently put on an open element air cleaner?

That is normal. You will hear all kinds of ticking sounds coming from the injectors, especially if you have an open element.
