Mine works perfect. He sent me the wrong linkage at first, so I took a pic of my original unit and emailed it to him, he then sent the correct one.

From your sig I hope you're running a custom chip and a lot of fuel pressure... or else it isn't air you need but fuel. Stock 55lb injectors is about the same as having 8 13lb mpfi injectors. I'm actually contemplating doing a back to back test of TBI's, the holley 670 (2") vs a stocker. I don't know how it's going to turn out, that's why I've gotta try it

I have a custom chip (not very good at it, no one up here to give me some hands on help but I am trying) and 65# injectors at 18 lbs
I data log with Win ALDL and burn with tuner pro RT and craigs hardeware
I have sputtering and hesitation problems at wot and lower RPM as well as sometimes when I down shift and romp on it at highway speeds
If you want a guinepig vehicle let me know buying the parts is no problem nor is driving to jersey

Trial and error my friend, trial and error. That's all you're getting with the mail order tuning so why not just do it yourself? For just over $100 you could program and have tried a hundred of chips in the time it takes to get one in the mail. You won't blow up your engine. You WILL damage it if you keep driving on a chip that makes your engine run like junk. Do it right, do it once, do it yourself... only that do it once is more like do it a bunch of times until you're happy and your engine is happy.
If you want to drive down to NJ this Spring and get some help on how to dial things in then we could arrange something off the board.

I'd love to drive down to jersey for some fine tuneing.
and i've never bought a mailorder chip
I started with a ANLU chip and and my stock chip and did the best I could to merg the 2 together (I have a stick) and I take the correction tables from the winalda output then mutiply the values in my tables by the correction factor and burn a new chip. very slow process but after like 20 burns I can see some progress

I've looked at all the DIY prom burning and such and it doesnt make sense to honestly, but I desparately need tuning, my fuel curve is definately messed up by large cam, and it sucks. The way I see it is I have three options: 1) mail order 2)DIY (but I'm lost) 3) go to carb...???

As long as your in the I-5 corridor, I bet a get together with either myself, or Mangus (he's in seattle, I'm in portland) could be arranged....

and yeah I have all the stuff and have burned a bunch of chips and well the theory and logic behind it is fairly simple, but I still get my GD azz kicked by it

You guys could cry about it or organize a day where we can meet up and I can efficiently spread some knowledge I've aquired. I'm not going to sit down and tune for you but I could be a sounding board for those of you that WANT to learn. I know Bill's thinking about getting some kind of seminar out in Arizona going. Still in the thought process.
Nuclear engineer... so could you design me a nuclear steam powered engine for my car? If you could or want to I'd be 100% dedicated to it

sure steam would work but it would be very very heavy, why not just use direct energy conversion enevtric drive
and yeah like you said I don't want you to tune my car (heck I'd prefer you didn't) but a second set of eyes could prove to be very handy, just need some tips and pointers especially at WOT
