mid 15's

ok ive got a basically stock l03 but I知 going to put headers,y-pipe, 3" hooker cat-back with no cat with an exhaust cut out and I知 going to bump the timing up to 4* maybe 6* degrees, I already done14x3 open air,160* thermostat and ultimate tbi mods, and I知 also going to change to 3.42 gears and put in a posi. Oh and I知 going to have new tires on too do you all think that値l get me in the mid 15痴? If not what do you think it would take to get me there?what did it take you guy's to get that fast? My car has 100,000 so the motors probably not to worn out yet. anyway give me your best guess thanks

Yeah that sounds pretty good to me. Have you done the Ultimate TBI mods yet or a AFPR?

That might help out with the stuff that you already planning to do and one if free and the other is pretty cheap.

I ran 15.56 with headers,2.5 exhaust,flowmaster,14*3 element,under drive pulleys,2.73 posi thats it. Seens then i bored outh the stock manifold put stock 081 heads an lt1 cam and i be doing soon 3.42 gears later this year.im looking for a 14.6 -14.8 pass down the 1/4 mile

i beat a stock Nissan 350Z up to 60 MPH...and i don't have headers yet...just a few little mods...maybe he wasn't shifting that great but i still took him off the line and up to 60...so when yo get those mods, go after a 350 Z!

what do you think i could run with the mods listed up there and a well tuned setup with ported and polished 081 heads a lt1 cam and edelbrock intake?

i ran a 15.2 in my 92 rs with a chip open element holley intake manifold, shift kit, and ultimate tbi mods, run with 2.73 open ended rear on street tires and stock headers with the cat cut off and a glass pack, with headers and true duals my car ran a 15.0 but it was running extremely rich due to a bad o2 sensor ur car should definatley be mid 15's if not better, the chip alone cut me from a bone stock 16.4 to 15.6 just with a chip best $150 i ever spent JET makes them or you can make ur own
