I know that the vortecs are great heads. I have some some on another motor. The worlds I personally don't know. I know that there are some dudes on here with them. You will need to get an aftermarket intake to fit on the vortecs if you get them, but if you go with the worlds then your current intake will fit on there. I think the worlds will take a higher lift cam then the vortecs. Are you going to buy and aftermarket intake and cam also or just heads?

Which worlds were you looking at? They make a few versions with varying chamber sizes. They are already set up with screw in studs and guide clearance for cams with more than .470" lift. The vortec heads are great but I would only buy they if they have some additional work done to them. You may want to look at summits and or www.sdp2000.com prepped vortecs that already have the afore mentioned features.

That is a pretty good head for a 305 man. And it won't need any work to run like a lt4 hotcam or something.
