Just curious as to whether this is thesible or not? I just want to change out the throttle linkage, everything else on my throttle body is fine.

Last time I needed something done on my Throttlebody I just pulled one out of a junkyard that wasn't busted. You can find them everywhere since the general put throttlebodies (for a while) in just about every sbc van, full size car, truck, and of course our own beloved 3rd gens. Nice to see someone else sticking with the TBI setup, its freakin amazing how much power they'll put out when you play with them. I take it you've watched Heartbreak ridge a few times lol. Marines kick ***.

yes it can be done you hav two way to do it first is to just cut the end off and weld it on second way is to grind the spot weld off the bottom of the throttle plate screws so you can unscrew them and take off the throttle plates and remove the one screw at the end of the throttle shaft and transfer to the other tbi unit.
