Well after I get my headers on, im thinking that after my roller rockers that my engine will be begging for fuel. I just want to know that if I buy the JET unit will it help me out and give me some more power or if I should spend my money elsewhere. I do not want to modify the stock one in case I mess it up.

Tuning it by trying to turn up the fuel pressure is not the way to go about it. If all you are doing is headers, and roller rockers (are you going 1.6 or staying with 1.5 ??), you will likely be ok, the stock tune is rather conservative, and runs on the rich side, the leaning effect from headers will be fine. The rockers will not have an effect, unless you are changing the ratio.

I am just going to 1.6 ratio. I just heard you can pull a few more hp by upping the pressure a tiny bit.

To properly tune it by just changing the fuel pressure, you are going to need a way to scan what the sensors are telling you, and also a way to actualy test the fuel presure.

Ok but just throwing in some 1.6 I still should be safe from TOO lean right?

You won't know unless you look at what the o2 is telling you. Then you are stuck with the stock o2, which is rather in accurate anyway. I can not tell you either way, how just the rocker arms are going to effect the computer. Each car reacts a little diffrently.

They are a joke. It just uses your stock sensor. I'm going to sound like a broken record again, but this is the reason so many of us preach about computer tuning. If you were doing your own computer work, you wouldn't need a AFPR, you would also be using the computer to get your sensor readings.

Yeah I know your right about tuning and I have been trying damn hard to try and figure out what the hell im doing, but alot of this stuff does not make sense to a beginner. Even if I knew how to pull datalogs, I would have no clue what to modify anyway. I just wish someone lived close to me on here that could get me started because if I had help the first time doing things, I learn fast hands on.
