TBI fuel injector spacer install help!
I bought a TBI fuel injector spacer off of ebay the other day and it came in last night! I went to go put it on and came into a slight problem... I cant get the fuel line(s) off the back of the throttle body! HOW do they come off? I tried every which way of twisting and turning. Is there a special trick or should I try some WD-40? I really want to get that spacer on but I dont want to be SOL

You need two wrenches. (I forget the size.) Place them on the two "nuts" where the fuel lines enter the TB. Hold the one closer to the TB still and turn the other to the left. That will seperate the line from the TB. Repeat for the other line. Once the fuel lines are off, you will probably need to take one of the fittings off too. This time just use one wrench on the fitting and turn it left. Now you should be able to remove the injector pod.

I will try this today after school. I was reading in the LT1 Cam Digest sticky and stumbled across the size wrenches you need, 5/8 and 3/4. Thanks Mark!

Righty tighty left loosy. You will need two wrenches as JerseyMark mentioned. Go slow. It is easy to twist and or break fuel lines if you crank on them.

Fuel pump will not come on unless the ignition is on. You will still have some residual fuel come out of both lines once you disconnect them so best to have a rag handy. But to play it safe, you should disconnect the battery, never know when you may accidentally drop a tool working on the engine and it lands on the starter. Just make sure before you do connect the fuel fittings back on the TBI that the plastic washers are in place before you screw them in. If I may, I would just go and get a tbi rebuild kit at your local auto store. It will come with new gaskets, fuel screen, O-rings and etc.

Got it installed during LUNCH!!! Yay! Only took <30 mins... was late to class by like 10 mins but I told her I had a leak on my throttle body that HAD to be fixed.
she was like Oh ok well then I wont count you tardy. Hehehehe.
Didn't see that big of an increase in power.. its not like I put a super charger on or anything lol. Well thanks for the help guys! Oh yea I almost striped one of the fuel line nuts...
but I got it to budge. yay. The instructions with the spacer said to take the gas cap off to releave the fuel pressure. There was a little trickle of gas out of the in feed but other than that all was good.
