Attempted to datalog the car...
I decided to try and see if I can get a datalog on my car so that I can better read it.
Anyway, I went ahead and downloaded that WinALDL program that I got off the sticky in this forum. I searched for my reference number and got that.
When I connected the cable to my ECM...I had loaded up the program and to my luck, I got no readings at all.
To make sure I didn't goof, I went ahead and double checked on the number and it was correct.
I shut off the computer, and I shut off the car. I rebooted the computer, loaded the program once more than I start my car up. Still nothing. And I mean the cable is in full contact with the ECM.
So I do it the other way, I start the car up first then, boot the program, and still nothing came my way.
Ultimately, I was kind of disappointed because i wanted to get accurate readings on my car, and when I found out that the program WinALDL has a diagnostic section, I needed to get my car read so that I can locate my damn miss.
I don't know where I went wrong, or what I did wrong, its the correct cable (OBD1 type) and it fit snuggly over my ECM without any problems. Everything else was connected as well.
Anyone have any ideas as to what went wrong?

what kind of OB1 cable is it and where did you get it at? GM uses differnt pins on the same OBD1, what works for a TPI won't work for TBI. I do belive there are instructions on the WinALDL site to make a cable that works.
