hey guys i was wondereing if anyone could help me on upgrading my tbi motor. i want to install some fast parts and get as much horsepower at i can. im looking already for a seat of hooker headers and i dont really want to install head but what is going to give me more horse then i will do it. PLEASE help me out. Anyone know where i can get a good air box for tbi motor as well?

 

ok well ill tell you whats coming your way from most of the people here. they are going to say get an open element air cleaner 14x3 usually. then headers, cat, and 3" catback. also gears will help from what i hear.

Viper, you forgot the other thing people will say... don't waste your time get a 350. I hate one the most. LOL!!

But seriously brother on at the top of the TBI forum there are some really good stickys that some of the guys have written man. You can get a lot of really good info in there. Even almost step by step guides on what to do from beginning to end.

thanks guys. i have a rare car because they only built 2,000 or so of them and i just dont want to interfere with the motor like that.

 

?? A '92 RS with a T5 is far from rare. They made tons of TBI equiped cars and sadly they have zero value. Take some time and look at the new to TBI sticky at the top of this forum.

 

Listen buddy there were only 2,000 or so of this car made because of its paint. It being a 5-speed even makes it worth more. In 1992 they only made the green-grey color only in that year. so to me its rare.
