Cam

Will this cam work for a 350 TBI if I get a custom chip made and bigger injectors? I read about the lobe seperation angle because of a vacuum loss. This cam is a COMP Cams Solid Roller camshaft.
duration @ 0.050 lift:224 i/e
lift: .525 i/e
lobe seperation angle:110

Probably will work but it just won't work well. Get a comparable COMP cam w/112+ Lobe Sep's and that will help the vacuum signal for you... Even 111 Lobe sep will help vac quite a bit.

How much HP you looking for? That's an awefully big cam if you are looking for 300hp ish... If you are looking for 350+, probably ok...

the solid roller might play havoc with your knock sensor

and 224/224 110 isnt that big, Bruce Plecan one of the eprom gurus ran that in his crossfire thirdgen with vette heads, ran 13s and i think by his calculations was about right on 300 hp

I'm at 235hp on engine dyno, now, with a 194/214, .395"/.442" Edelbrock 3702 MELLOW cam and custom PROM. Soon, trying for 300 hp with 204/214 cam. If that's not enough cam, gonna try 214/224 cam... I will share dyno results/PROM info with all, if you are interested.
