sweet. I like that Triangle air cleaner. What sized ROH ZS rims does your friend have? 17x9.5 back, 17x8.5 front or 17x9.5 all around? my car would be the firebird version of that car if I get the rims. Red paint too.
thanks

They were 17X9.5 all the way around. That car was involved in an accident a few weeks ago, the car has been totally stripped of parts and parted out It was totalled. Shame, it was a bad *** car and was one of the nicest IROC-Z's I'd ever seen.

I hate my 327 truthfully. It's got too many problems and I want to drop that 427 in sooooo badly right now, but it's not ready
Thanks for the compliments

I'm thinking about using that red from this truck and those rims now on the '89 Formula.

I have yet to hear of a dual TB set up working right, running a gm ecm.
The problem is they run the injectors in series/ parrarel, so the injectors only have half the voltage to open them.
I hooked up four in series parrarel, and ran them on my ecm bench at about 3,500 rpm, the started going static

Hey Duke. What engine did u have in there when u melted a rod or something? That recent highway incident? Know what I am talking about?

I know all about those GM ECM's and how they don't supply engough voltage. I have mine setup differently though. I custom made an in line "device" that splits signel and fires only one injector at a time, so they get full voltage. I want to make a different one that will fire two injectors at a time, my current setup keeps making it run too lean on the low end. Runs perfect at the high end though. I'm not going to into detail on how I plan on doing it, but basically it will use transistors (am I thinking of the right thing?), their electronic relays, but they work alot faster then conventional relays. I'll have them work off of the ECM's signel and they will control a higher voltage current to the injectors. Sorry, I know it's hard to understand, but they'll solve my problem if I do it right.
Eric, I had my 327 in when I busted a pushrod. It was my fault, I was using a hydralic roller cam, and I have solid roller lifters, big mistake. I replaced the pushrods and cam, and since I went that far I ripped off the old heads and put the Fast Burn heads on, now I still need to make a chip so it will run right.

Later

Joe

DUKE, go to an electronics wholesale parts shop or something and tell them what voltage you are pushing and what you want it to be amplified to and they should be able to give you a small coil (is that a transistor?)to do the job.

I thought about doing that, but I'm not sure if it can pulse quick enough. It might just hold the injectors open, and that would be very bad. I'm forming some other ideas, but I'll figure it out.
Most 327's do like to rev high. Mine will rev to 8000 RPM's, but I built mine for more midrange power, only because that's how my transmission is built, it's not a standard T-5.

Anyone know of any other people running duel TBI units?

why not? might need two o2s. and two of the other sensors. it would be easier to magnify the signal of the other sensor rather than the injectors?? i dont know
