Where is everybody??????
Has everyone ditched tbi or something?
The boards are feeling empty and posts are few. We havent even had a good argument for over a month. I think the winter weather is causing sports car withdraw-depression.
Anybody found any good car websites lately, share them.
Or maybe people have something somewhat editorial like?

that better not be mocking my tbi redesign.
i really dont think ill ever have it built. at least not till i hit the lottery. and i just realized a flaw in my drawings.
I moved the iac to the back instead of sticking out the side so that it would never interfere with someones egr but.. now it would be kinda hard to use it for a duel tbi setup. besides, without redesigning the injector pod, there really isnt much room for improvement that would be worth a sheet in hp or flow numbers.

I need a heated garage or one of them afterburner looking heaters so I could work on the car in the garage while its being stored in the winter. TO COLD OUT THERE!
-22 last night and usually 4-7F outside during the day!

I have mine parked too, but in a nice heated garage. Snow sucks that way. But at least your cars are bearable in the cold weather. You guys have either metal and cloth or glass over your heads. I have a pair of jeans and a few metal bars over mine (it can be very cold). Leather doesn't help much either.
Oh well, when summer comes around, I'll have the Camaro everyone wants. How many more months of winter...damn its a lot.

In the North East it snows quite often and we need to heat our homes and our cars. Today alone we got 1.5ft of snow. Plus, its only 10 degrees outside. So heated garages are a commodity here.
Although I parked my Camaro, I can race around in my snowmobile or take a ride on my quadrunner, or even use a sled down a steep hill. Those are toys people enjoy in the snow
Hey anyone hate riceboys as much as I do? Just look at my website, most people that see it either like it or threaten to kill me. I would imagine most of the people that go to this site share my opinions.

ya, weve had quite a bit of snow here in omaha, and the weather out right now, at 2am is about -3 plus windchill. it hurt to touch the steering wheel on the way home about 20minutes ago. i had to use my fingertips.
its not uncommon to see cars in the ditch everyday, and 5 foot piles of snow on the sides of the road. It hasnt been over freezing here for over a month i think. really. But thats how it is here in the frozen tundra of the artic, o wait, im in iowa.
drove past a jacknifed semi and 8 cars piled up behind it couple weeks ago. 50mph winds had the temp that day in the -50's with windchill. I was driving a camaro on that day. heheeheh. no wrecks here. im a master of driving a rearwheeldrive in the winter. ive never drivin anything else in the snow. except one time an explorer, wrecked it on an icy bridge. ill stick with my rearwheel, screw 4wheel. false sense of security. or coulda been cuz it was a ford. chevy 4x4 = woulda stopped.
nite time. lates

4x4 is wonderful...if you know how to use it. Rear drive is wonderful...if you know how to use it. Just be glad you don't live in Arkansas. Their buried in ice. I'll take snow anyday. I like how most people in Iowa can't drive in snow. Its the same in PA. At least you didn't mess up your ride. I still have some problems in the snow like when I'm stopped, starting again. My car likes to shoot the rear of the car out to the right.

snow tires suck. i have them on my camaro because my beater broke down, and i can't floor it if it's in 1st or second, just spins alot and makes smoke.

Why would you floor it with snow tires? They have metal spikes sticking out to grip the snow and when you spin the tires they rip out of their grooves. They fall out anyway, but ripping them out isn't good either. If you want a road tire that's decent in the snow, I like the old school T/A radials.

Sorry, I did get those confused. But they are nubby and are for digging into the snow, not planting your car for a hard launch, that's what your other tires are for.
It is difficult to stop on the snow or ice, but try getting your camaro started in 3 inches of it like I was doing today. These are the worst cars I've ever driven in the snow, loved my Cavalier in that sense, but I just sold it
