That's about right. I've got an 89 Camaro (5-speed though) with a cat-back, chip, and open air and I run 15.7 at best. Normally slightly higher.

if thats stock, id say you ran extremely well. most of the stock L03's that i see run high 16's. I wonder if once you start modding it, if it will run better than someone else's with the same mods.

I have said this a million times but these engines are just to unpretictable. I have heard of stock times as good as high 15's to low 17's! Might have to do with how well the person takes care of the car and if the car is fully tuned.

I for one don't think it has so much to do with the engines, but where the track is located, and most importantly the experience of the person driving the car. Tires and suspension also heavily impact drag times. Just simply saying it's an L03 doesn't accomplish much, but mine was dynoed at 158 RWP with my mods mentioned above and I have a best of 15.7.

Mine went 15.68 stock ,minus air cleaner, 50# air in the front tires w/ 4* advanced timing. It now runs 14.91 with mods below and uncapped exhaust w/ a 70/30 mix of 93 octane and 105 octane.

A friend's 89 Formula went 15.98 stock, so I guess it just depends on the car.

Underdog RS, I was running 15.32 when I had all the mods below except 'Vette servo and 3.42's. When you get gears and Vette servo/shift kit, you ought to be in 14.70-14.80's easy. 15.28 is pretty quick for 2.73's. These cars have 9.5:1 compression and they like about 6* adv timing and a little higher than 93 octane gas (don't try to run straight race gas 100-110, just blend some with your pump gas and put about 50# of pressure in your front tires and I think that car will surprise you. I would also get a cut-out put in before the cat, for use at the track, bacause I still have stock manifolds/y pipe and ny cut-out picked my up almost 2 tenths.
