Got a combo for 'ya

Hey guys,
I'm just about to score an 88 350 motor minus heads intake and FI. So, I got a set of 350 heads here that I'm gonna port to my best ability and I want to throw the 670 cfm Holley TBI on there too. This is intended to be a nice, mild and user friendly motor. SO, this along w/ a performer RPM and adapter should make for a pretty decent combo correct? I'm sure some guys are running this set-up and I would like any kind of feedback you wanna give. I have a couple Q's though for you. 1.) Does the Holley unit come w/ injectors? 2.) just b/c the unit is 2 barrels doesn't mean squat does it? As long as it flows 670 right? I think 670 cfm is 670cfm wether one barrel or 50 barrels. And is there any " 2 inch bore clearance prob's" w/ the RPM manifold and adapter? And finally, does all the electrical and linkage, etc. hook up pretty decently?
Thanks guys,
Alex

I can answer a few of your Q's: 1) 670 cfm is 670 cfm, 1 barrel, 2 barrel or whatever, look at the new LS1's, they're essential 1 barrels!! 2)The Holley's do come injectors.
I'm not sure about the clearance problems w/ the RPM intake, I'd think no, but not sure. From what I've heard the Holley is preety much a direct bolt up, but like I said, I heard that, so again I'm not sure about the last 2 Q's, but I am about the first 2.

Alex, holley injectors are junk youll need to swap the gm injector pod in its place, drill and tap for the aircleaner stud aswell

Head choice and cam choice are critical
Ive gone through all this i can show everything on my motor if you like, and more importantly, give you a ride in it so you can judge how well it works for yourself, let me know, call me anytime (i lost your #)
