Car stalls sometimes.... HELP

I have a 92 'maro RS, V8 5 speed.. sometimes when i start it up the engine dies, and when i try to restart and rev it the rpm's jump all over the place and still wants to stall, then after a few seconds it is fine. This doesn't happen all the time, so i have no idea what is wrong... any suggestions???

Hook probes of a volt meter to the a & b terminals on the tps harness with engine in run but dont start engine. Should read around .5. Adjust the throttle stop screw in or out to change voltage. BTW, I had the same problem and got an IDle Air Control valve today and it fixed it. Praise the Lode!
