air cleaner ring size?

air cleaner ring size?
I already have a k&n air cleaner for my stock intake. If I move to an open element will I have to buy a new one?

yes, But assuming you wana be a real cheap *** you can maybe find one that will fit it. there are 9" wide ones and 10" I don't remember how wide the stock filter is. Its sitting in my garage waiting for smog check time with the other stock air cleaner pieces.
