Does Comp cams make a cam that will work with the computer on a 305 tbi. If they do which one will be better, the Crane compucom or the Comp cam.

 

Get the COMP XE250-12 (not exact P/N) cam. It is essentially an XE250 cam but with 112 lobe sep. Nice for EFI. I am using the plain old XE250 (110deg lobe sep) on my 350cid and got more than 300hp (carb AND TBI) with pretty major PROM work. For the 305 and for less tuning req'd, I'd use the 112 lobe sep version.

 

i am planning my combo around a 97 stock LT1 cam. it is a 450intake/460exhaust. looks like it will work good for the narrow bore of the 305.
