Got motor back in w/XE250-10

NICE! Probably a little mellow for you 1/4 mile guys but a flat torque curve w/400lb-ft and 300hp peak is NICE in a Wrangler!!! With the 1-11/16" TBI, too!!! Glad I took the time to dyno test for the PROM changes. BLM's around 125-130 all around. That's about as good as I'm gonna get without Diacom, I guess.

Not sure that I'm gonna try the Hot Cam, now. It runs too good. I think the Hot Cam is more than just a simple step up from what I noticed when I had it in there.

Whatcha think?

RIght now:

350cid
2400 stall converter
Nice 700R4
no-t-case, 2wd
3.07 rear gears
B&M Light Truck Megashifter
Poop Boys 4 for $99 tires for winter salt/burnouts on OEM Jeep Steel rims

4.11's in the Dana 60 go back in this weekend! and the BFG AT 31x12.50x15's on 10 inchers, too.

I have TONS of Wrangler V8 conversion stuff lying around, if you know of anyone interested. I'll cut you a deal... Heeee. I got 23-spline t-case (the nice/HD one), Advance Adapter t-case adapter, TH350 Wicked tranny, front driveshaft, rear yoke, tranny mounts, B&M Star Shifter and torque converter, misc other stuff.

IMO, don't do a body lift. Doesn't lok as good as a Suspension lift. Instead of a 1" body lift, get ConnFerr 1" lift shackles. MUCH stronger than OEM and look cool and REAL EASY.

EDIT: You have coils, right? Not leafs. Use the Aluminum 1" spacers over them. Nice.

no coils. YJ4LIFE that what my plate says and thats my handle on the jeep boards. I aready got the 1" BL, $55 great deal. I got it originaly so my 31s wouldn't eat my flares with no lift but they did before I could get the 1" BL on so its been sitting under my bed. You got a SYE lying around? check out my webpage for Jeep 4x4 stuff. I got several pages up. lots of unique pics. You can see my Euro taillights too.

My absolute first original mod to my Jeep was a 3" body lift and 31x10.50x15 BFG AT's on the OEM rims. I like (and NEED for traction) the width of the 12.50's. Plus, being only 31" tall, they are a rather diferent loking tire. And much more road-worthy than the 40' Ground Hawgs I had on for a while. I could GO, but I could NOT stop!!!

What's an SYE?

EDIT: Slip Yoke Eliminator, just figured it out. No gots. JUst plain-old NP231 big shaft. Gonna put in a Chevy Pickup NP241 with SYE for this Winter. Haven't needed the extra beef, yet, but figured why find out in the middle of knowhere? Very inpressed with the NP231 strength!!! When I flip my axles below my leafs, I have 6.5" of lift and have not needed a SYE, either. yeah, one would be nice, but good d-shaft builders and Ujoints make all the diff in the world.

I've driven passed them and seen them but I've never been. You need HP for sand and thats what the 4.2L in '89 didn't have. I've played in some sand in Santa Clarita in some big dry riverbeds off the 126 near the 5. I thought I almost got stuck in some places.

When I was at Pismo I was running the Edelbrock ProFlo injection system with about 400hp. Couldn't figure out why I was only barely beating all the Jeeps and other big trucks out there up Dragrace Hill... Later on, someone said "how come your front wheels are not rotating". I had it in 4WD but a vacuum line that actuates the front-axle lock was broken apart so the front driveshaft was turning but I didn't have ANY front-wheel drive!!! Hooked it back up and WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Good thing NP puts filters on those vac lines!!! Just goes to show you you don't necessarily need 4wd all the time. Plus, my Jeep loads the back tires a lot with the power I was puching. i miss that ProFlo cause you could tune with the push of a button.. Which (Edit: WISH) our TBI was that way!!!!!!!!!!

ya but $2000 is out of my league. I chat with a guy that has a Pro Flow on a ZZ4. He got a flooded '97 TJ for almost nothing, striped it out and built it up. There is a Mecanical actuator if you haven't ditched the vaccume yet.
