How can I beat a Supra Turbo?

I've never lost a race until last night. I had him until like 45 MPH and then his turbo kicked in and he flew past me. It was quite embarrassing losing to a *****. What mods can I make to beat him? All I have now is an open-element and a Blowmaster 80 series. PLEASE help.

The turbo Supra's can turn mid-13 second quarter miles all day. To get 13 seconds out of your Camaro will take some extensive modification. The best way to get there would be to build a new motor and drop it in. You'd need to upgrade the drivetrain and rear suspension at the same time for everything to work well together. Needless to say, this is an expensive undertaking...but it's the only way your gonna go faster than that Supra.

The hell with that, beat the supra at it's own game and put in twin turbo's on your 305 and see if how little he gets in the rear view.

Hey, I would love to run a couple turbos on my 305 but do you have the money to do that cause I know I dont. I saw this guy a little while ago and he made some smart remark about beating me. I was like, "Yeah, take that turbo off and lets try it again" We almost got into it. I'll get him someday, somehow....

I do not have 3-4 grand to buy the newest, best turbos but I could sure pick up a couple of turbos out of the junkyard off of 4 cylinder cars for around 200 to 300 bucks. I plan to do this later, after some serious restoration (T-tops, interior, paint, suspension).

Pablo: I've read a few posts here today and it seems like alot of people aren't too happy with you. Are you TRYING to make a jack*ss out of yourself or does it happen naturally? Just wondered. And oh yeah, I'll be in Miami this summer if you want to settle things there. Well, catch ya later.

I'm talking about just stoplight to stoplight racing, I've never taken the Camaro to the track, that would be too embarrassing. But in the races I've been in I've beaten several Mustangs, an old Malibu, ricers, stupid idiots in trucks, V6 F-bodies, and things like that, nothing really fast or special or anything. I like to just beat people with torque. That's because I have like, no horsepower to speak of. Oh well.

The reason i was laughing is because i have the exact same car with exact same mods. Pretty much any car with a stick shift can smoke me. If u have a stick thats another story.

Actually it's an automatic! I didn't think you were trying to be smart with me or anything, if it came off to you like that, I was just kind of mad with Pablo. Yeah, I know that if I took it to the track I wouldn't win a single race, that's why I dont take it out there!
