Hmm, Hesitation....

I noticed that I sometimes have some bogging off the line when I floor it or give it gas real quick. Engine kinda dies real quick and then picks up again and goes. Could this be because of my fuel pressure as well? I checked for codes and got nothing. Replaced the O2 sensor awhile back as well and everything looks in order. Just curious on what may cause this. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. Mostly happens when it is really hot out. Thanks.

Mine is doing this too -- if i start off slow - the car kinda bogs in and out and then picks up and goes - if i give it gas hard it will just go ahead and go - can someone help us on this topic? I have changed plugs, wires, distributor = everything - no codes come up on the computer -- could this be weak TBI injectors?

ha ha ha...

Throw me in the same club with you guys.

I've replaced the whole freaking car and its still happening.

I am tired of listing things I've replaced, so here is the list in a nutshell.
New igntion (everything)
New fuel pump strainer and filter.
New sensors all around.
Re-built the TBI with new injectors and FPR.
Gutted the cat but to no avail, and horrible sound.

I seriously belive that there is either a weak cable connection in the ignition system or your fuel line is restricted.

Things I plan on doing.
1. Just got the Crane HI-6 ignition to see if that helps.
2. Run preassurized air through the lines and see if that helps!

Other than that, there are few things I am buying to remedy this.

Adjustable FPR
Higher flow pump
And ofcorse I just got the ignition.
This should not be a problem!

Tommorow I am putting the igntion in so we'll see what happens.

Good luck fellas!

Got the HI-6 installed today! It did not help the bogg off the line. However it made it feel like before but only when i floor it off the line.

This gotta have something to do with fuel.

I've got my whole igntion tested and it was fine, still I put on the CD ignition.
It helps alot when it gets in higher RPMs and my car runs soo much smoother and stronger now.

I will next clean the lines and see if that might be the problem. If not I will go with Adjustable fuel preassure regulator and see if that does the trick!

If all else fails than I fail.

Oh, and I replaced the ECM as well!

If anyone has some info on this let us know!
THanks.

i guess ill jump in too. Is this just some sort of mystery problem for TBI's. I checked my injectors and they sounded fine. They have that steady clicking rythem. Does anyone know where i could check the test points for the ignition? I can try and do that and get it out of the way.
