Stalling problems

i have stalling problems when i am at red lights and the engine is hot. I have a 92 rs TBI. I was told it might be the vacum hose, or maybe the EGR. If anybody has an idea to what it might be, or knows how to fix it let me know.

Is your computer throwing any codes?? A little more info would be helpful also. Maybe try cleaning the IAC and the other basic stuff. Search the archives. Questions like these are posted almost once a week at least. Goodluck

Is your car running rough at idle? If so, I would tell you to check the vacuum hoses at the MAP sensor. I had a leak, and it ran like **** at idle, and would stall out all the time.

My friend Jeff has a Pontiac Sunbird that had the same problem. He had to get a throttle position sensor and that fixed it right away! He tried everything else, even taking it to a mechanic, and the mechanic didn't even find it! There were NO codes being thrown from the computer either!
Amazing. I hope this helps you out!

Don't try that until you check your codes. Could be a waste of scratch.

Also check your fuel pressure UNDER THE EXACT SAME CONDITIONS. You could have a faulty fuel pump
